Reusing an Asset Library asset in a model (Asset Library integration)
You can reuse an Asset from an Asset Library, and thereafter update that Asset with any updates that are made to the Asset in the Asset Library.
To reuse an asset from the Asset Library:
1. If you have not done so already, install the Asset Library Bridge, do so. See Installing the Asset Library Bridge.
2. If you have not done so already, add the Asset profile to your model. See Adding the Asset profile to a model.
3. From Modeler, in the Asset Library pane locate the Asset you want to reuse to your model.
4. Drag the Asset from the Asset Library pane to the Model icon in the Packages pane or to an appropriate diagram.
Note that you can hover the mouse pointer over a pane's tab to open that pane, and hover the mouse pointer over Package to expand that Package.
Alternatively,
Right-click the Asset in the Asset Library pane and click Copy, and then right-click the Model in the Packages pane and click Paste.
Alternatively,
From Asset Library, right-click the Asset you want to update in your model and then click Copy, and then in Modeler right-click the Model in the Packages pane and then click Paste.
5. From the Asset Reuse Mapping dialog, select the mapping you want to use to import the Asset, and then click OK. See Asset mappings.
The Asset Library Bridge imports the Asset into your model and links it to the Asset Library.
To update an asset from the Asset Library:

If after importing the Asset to your model the first time you moved the Asset to a Package, you must move the Asset back to being directly scoped to the model. If you do not do this, instead of updating the Asset in Modeler, Asset Library will create a new Asset in your model.
1. From Modeler, in the Asset Library pane locate the updated Asset.
2. Drag the Asset from the Asset Library pane to the Model in the Packages pane.
Note that you can hover the mouse pointer over a pane's tab to open that pane, and hover the mouse pointer over Package to expand that Package.
Alternatively,
Right-click the Asset in the Asset Library pane and click Copy, and then right-click the Model in the Packages pane and click Paste.
Alternatively,
From Asset Library, right-click the Asset you want to update in your model and then click Copy, and then in Modeler right-click the Model in the Packages pane and then click Paste.
3. From the Asset Reuse Mapping dialog, select the mapping you want to use to update the Asset, and then click OK.
Asset Library updates the Asset in your model.
