Publishing an asset to the Asset Library (Asset Library integration)
You can publish an Asset from Modeler to an Asset Library, and there after publish new versions of that Asset into the same Asset Library.
To publish a Modeler asset the first time:
1. If you have not done so already, install the Asset Library Bridge, do so. For more information, see Installing the Asset Library Bridge.
2. If you have not done so already, add the Asset profile to your model. For more information, see Adding the Asset profile to a model.
3. In Modeler, drag the Asset from the Packages pane or a diagram to the required Catalog in the Asset Library pane.
Note that you can hover the mouse pointer over a pane's tab to open that pane, and hover the mouse pointer over Package to expand that Package.
Alternatively,
Right-click the Asset in the Packages pane and click Copy, and then right-click the Catalog in the Asset Library pane and click Paste.
Alternatively,
Right-click the Asset in the Packages pane and click Copy, and in Asset Library right-click the Catalog and then click Paste.
4. From the Asset Properties dialog, in the Name box, change the name of the Asset if required.
5. In the Version box, type a version number for the Asset.
6. Click Publish
The Asset Library Bridge publishes the Asset into the Asset Library.
To publish a new version of an asset:
1. In Modeler, locate the Asset you want to publish, in a pane or on a diagram.
The Asset must be in the model that was first used to create the Asset in the Asset Library.
You can confirm that the Asset was used to create the Asset in the Asset Library through the Asset tab of the Asset's Property Pages: If the tagged value of the IsSource tag definition is set to TRUE, the Asset was used to create the Asset in the Asset Library; If the tagged value of the IsSource tag definition is set to FALSE, the Asset has been reused in the model and you cannot publish it.
2. Right-click the Asset, point to Asset, and then click Copy Asset
Modeler opens the Asset Properties dialog.
3. In the Version box, type a new version number for the new version of the Asset.
4. Click Publish Asset Library publishes the new version of the Asset.
