Deleted items
There are two scenarios in which Integration for Lifecycle Manager will delete items in the target environment:
When an item in the Modeler Model has been synchronized with an item in a PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Document, Integration for Lifecycle Manager deletes the target item when the source item is deleted.
When performing a unidirectional synchronization, Integration for Lifecycle Manager deletes items that have been created in the target environment and in the scope of the Mapping, unless the Do Not Delete Unsynchronized Items check box has been selected.
When Integration for Lifecycle Manager deletes items you have the option of Integration for Lifecycle Manager marking items as deleted or deleting those items.
Marking items as deleted
To mark items as deleted, select the Mark Target Object as Deleted From Source option on the Common Mapping Options page.
Marking an item as deleted has the advantage of leaving an audit trail and item relationships.
A Modeler item is marked as deleted by setting its IsDeletedInRequirementTool property to TRUE. A PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager item is marked as deleted by setting its PTC Modeler Is Deleted field to TRUE.
Deleting items
To delete items: select the Delete Target Object option on the Common Mapping Options page.
