Synchronizing model items the first time - surrogate mapping (Integration for PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager)
Before Integration for Lifecycle Manager can work with a PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Document, the Document Type of that Document must be configured to work with Integration for Lifecycle Manager.
How?
To synchronize Model items the first time:
1. From Modeler, open the model that owns the items you want to synchronize.
2. In the Packages pane, select the Package you want to synchronize.
3. On the Tools menu, point to Integrity Lifecycle Manager, and then click Synchronize.
4. Set the options on each page of Integration for Lifecycle Manager as required.
If you require help for any of the Integration for Lifecycle Manager pages, click the Help button.
• On the Mapping Selection page, click Create New, and ensure that from the Mapping Type list you select Surrogate Mapping.
• On the Synchronize page, click the Save Mapping and Synchronize button so that you can repeat the synchronization using the same settings.
5. On the Synchronization Log page, review the log for any problems that occurred during the synchronization.
