Viewing a Modeler item's associated items in PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager (Integration for PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager)
When a Modeler item has been synchronized with an item in PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager, you can perform the following operations from the item in Modeler:
• View the Modeler item's associated item in a PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Document view
• View the Modeler item's associated item in a PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Item Details view
• View the traceability links of the Model item's associated item
To view a Modeler item's associated item inaPTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Document view:
• In Modeler, right-click the item, point to Tools, point to Integrity Lifecycle Manager, and then click View in Document.
PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager opens the Document that owns the associated item, and then selects that associated item.
To view a Modeler item's associated item in a PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Item Details view:
• In Modeler, right-click the item, point to Tools, point to Integrity Lifecycle Manager, and then click View Item Details.
PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager opens the Item Details view for the associated item.
To view the traceability links of a Model item's associated item:
• In Modeler, right-click the item, point to Tools, point to Integrity Lifecycle Manager, and then click View Traceability.
Modeler opens the Lifecycle Manager Traceability for Modeler Item dialog. This dialogs shows the PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager items that are linked through traceability links to the associated item.
Note that the dialog shows traceability relationships that are defined in PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager, not traceability relationships that are defined in Modeler.
