Lifecycle Manager traceability for Modeler item dialog (Integration for PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager)
The Lifecycle Manager Traceability for Modeler Item dialog allows you to view the traceability relationships of the PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager item that is associated with a Modeler item.
The dialog shows the PTC Integrity Modeler items that are linked to the Modeler item's associated item through each traceability relationship type in PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager.
The dialog shows traceability relationships that are defined in PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager, not traceability relationships that are defined in Modeler.
This dialog appears when you right-click a Modeler item, point to Tools, point to Integrity Lifecycle Manager, and then click View Traceability.
To view a listed item in a PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Document view:
• From the dialog, select the item you want to view in PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager, and then click View in Document.
To view a listed item in a PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Item Details view:
• From the dialog, select the item you want to view in PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager, and then click View Item Details.
To view a listed item's associated Modeler items in Modeler:
• From the dialog, select the item for which you want to view an associated Modeler item, click View In Modeler, and then click the Model in which you want to view an associated Modeler item.
A PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager item can be associated with many Modeler items.
To view the PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager traceability relationships of a listed item:
• From the dialog, select the item for which you want to view its traceability relationships, and then click View Traceability. The traceability relationships are listed in the dialog.
To run the preceding commands against the PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager item that is associated with the Modeler item that was right-clicked, right-click the background of the dialog, and then click the required command.
The dialog has the following columns:
• Item ID column — shows the ID of the PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager item.
• Item Type column — shows the type of the PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager item.
• Item Category column — shows the category of the PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager item.
• In Modeler column — shows whether PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager item is synchronized with a Modeler item.
• Document ID column — shows the ID of the PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Document that owns item.
• Document Name column — qshows the Name of the PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Document that owns item.
