Excluding a document structure item from the generated document (Publisher)
When you are developing the document structure and want to minimize the generation time, you can do so by not generating sections that are not being worked on.
To exclude a document structure item from the generated output:
1. In the Document Structure pane, select the item that you do not want to include in the generated output.
2. In the Properties pane, select the Generate Section property.
3. In the value cell, click the button, and then click Don't Generate.
The selected item and all its child items are ignored when you next generate output.
