Creation
To create an Activity (Operational):
• From an Architectural Description or Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to DoDAF, point to Operational, and then click Activity (Operational).
• From a Performer (Operational), Standard Activity (Operational) or Activity (Operational): right-click the element, point to New, point to DoDAF, and then click Activity (Operational).
• From an OV-5 Operational Activity Decomposition Tree, CV-6 Capability to Operational Activity Mapping or SV-5 Function to Operational Activity/Service Function Definition: click the Activity (Operational) button, and then click in free space on the diagram.

You can convert an Activity (Operational) to a Standard Activity (Operational): right-click the Activity (Operational), point to Convert To, and then click Standard Activity (Operational).

Relationships
The following relationships are of importance to an Activity (Operational):
• Implements relationships link an Activity (Operational) to the Activity (Service) elements it implements.
• Activity Performed by Performer relationships link an Activity (Operational) to Performer (Operational) and Security Domain elements that perform the Activity (Operational).
