To Reverse the Direction of a Fiber
1. In an open design, click > . The Format report dialog box opens.
2. Select the Fiber check box on the General tab.
4. Click
. The
Report Results dialog box opens.
5. Right-click the fiber in the Report Results dialog box and choose Reverse Direction from the shortcut menu.
6. Click
to rerun the report. The new fiber direction is updated in the report.
7. On the Report Results dialog box, click Close.
8. On the Format report dialog box, click Close.
| Whenever the direction of a fiber is reversed, make sure to update the shapes so that the directional arrows indicate the correct direction of the fiber. |
Fixing the Direction of a Fiber
When the direction of a fiber is not the same for all segments you can fix it so that all fiber segments have the same direction.
1. Click > and run a report.
2. Right-click the fiber in the Report Results dialog box and choose Fix Direction from the shortcut menu.
3. Click
to rerun the report. The fiber segment directions are the same.
4. On the Report Results dialog box, click Close.
5. On the Format report dialog box, click Close.
Format Report. The Format report dialog box opens.
