To Edit a Variable Group
1. Select the variable group on the sheet, then right-click and choose Reorder Members from the shortcut menu. The Reorder Members dialog box opens.
To add another member to an advanced group shape:
◦ Select the member from the Members list.
◦ Type the number of members required in the Num in Instance cell.
◦ Press ENTER, and then click Apply.
To add additional ports to a simple connector:
▪ Select the number in the Num in Instance cell and type a new number.
▪ Press ENTER.
▪ If the value is less than the current number of ports, the Delete dialog box opens.
▪ Click OK to confirm or click Details to view the selected members.
2. Click Apply after every change. The group image attaches to the pointer. No database changes occur until the group is instanced.

To see changes as they occur, click Settings and select Preview. When Preview is selected, the group reverts to its original state when you click Cancel. When you clear the Preview option, changes are displayed only after you click Apply.

3. Click the sheet to instance the group.
4. Click OK, or exit the tool.
