1. Click Geometry. The Geometry tab opens.

2. Click the arrow next to Offset and select an offset construction line from the list.

3. Type a new offset value in the Offset box or accept an existing offset value.

4. Click the point on the sheet to be used as the datum point. A construction line is drawn offset from the point at the set value.

5. To reverse the offset from the last point, right-click and choose Reverse Offset from the shortcut menu.

6. To create further construction lines of the same type, set a new offset distance and click to locate the datum point.
