1. In the Catalog Explorer, the Model Explorer, or on a sheet, select an object to associate with an object type.

2. In the Catalog Explorer or the sheet, right-click and choose Properties from the shortcut menu, the Properties dialog box opens. In the Model Explorer click the Artifact Parameters or Shape Properties tab.

3. Click Set next to the Type box. The Select type dialog box opens.

4. Select the type in the tree and click OK.
