About Changing a Sheet Template
You can change a sheet template to another standard template or to a customized one. The list of template sheets available contains only the template sheets large enough to contain all items and graphics on the current sheet. You cannot change the sheet format when there are hidden layers on the sheet. When you change a template, the following events occur:
The border and the table graphics of the current sheet are replaced by those defined in the new template when they are on a layer set as Format.
*
The default layer for the sheet border and table graphics is DEF_SHEET_FORMAT.
The size and format of the current sheet change.
Sheet labels and properties become those of the new template.
Cross-references are added and updated. For example, if you switch from an A4 sheet with 4 columns to an A1 sheet with 8 columns, the resulting sheet will have 8 columns. This affects the column number information for other sheets in the location set. For example, if the second sheet originally started at column 5, it will now start at column 9.
Graphic elements that belong to a layer with the Format property selected will be replaced.
Component shapes are unaffected.
