Description
Creo Ansys Simulation now supports fatigue analysis results within a structural study. A new group of the following fatigue related results are available:
Fatigue Damage
Fatigue Life
Safety Factor
Biaxiality Indication
Equivalent Alternating Stress
Probe results are not applicable to fatigue. Fatigue is only available with a Creo Ansys Simulation advanced license. Multiple mean stress theories are available. Fatigue results are calculated based on the following two inputs:
Fatigue Behavior (stress or strain life)
Fatigue material properties including S-N curve input and other cyclic stress-strain properties that are defined in the Fatigue area of the Material Definition dialog box.
The following figures show two different fatigue results.

Safety Factor Results
Benefits
This enhancement provides the following benefits:
Powerful integrated fatigue results
Fast and easy to use
Failure prediction under cyclic loading to avoid unexpected failures
