ECAD Holes
When you create a simple hole (except for simple sketched and sketched placement holes) or standard hole in the board part, four default ECAD parameters are created. You can change the hole parameters from the following locations:
The Properties tab of the Hole tab when you create or edit the definition of the hole.
ECAD hole parameters are defined in the ecad.hol file. This file is found in the system text/hole directory. If you customized this file, place it in the run directory.
The Model Tree parameters columns.
The Parameters dialog box. You cannot delete these parameters in the Parameters dialog box.
These parameters are exported and imported in the IDX file. To collaborate on changes to holes and hole parameters use one of these methods:
Simplified collaboration—Click Get Changes or Send Changes.
ECAD - MCAD Collaboration tab—Click ECAD Collaboration.
Parameters for holes created in releases before Creo Parametric 10 remain as they were created. Holes created in Creo Parametric 10 and later are created with the four ECAD hole parameters.
The next table lists the four ECAD hole parameters. All parameters have string values.
