Create and manage channel groups
You can create channel groups, which can help you break down a complex channel structure into more easily manageable components.
Once you define a group, you can highlight it for easier identification in the viewport, add and remove channel segments belonging to the group, and delete groups.
To define a channel group,
1. Click Channel and then, in the Modify group, click Group.
2. Click Define path group. The Create Path Group dialog box opens.
3. Hold the SHIFT key and select multiple channel segments in the viewport.
4. Name the group.
5. Click to complete the operation.
The channel segments you selected appear in the structure browser as a feature under the harness' Channels subassembly.
To modify a channel group,
1. Click Channel and then, in the Modify group, click Group.
2. Click Modify path group. The Modify Path Group dialog box opens.
3. Select a group from the Structure Browser.
4. Use the Select dialog box to add or remove channel segments from the group.
5. Click to complete the operation.
To highlight a channel group,
1. Click Channel and then, in the Modify group, click Group.
2. Click Highlight path group. The Highlight Path Group dialog box opens.
3. Double-click a channel group feature in the Structure Browser.
4. Click to complete the operation.
To remove a channel group,
1. Click Channel and then, in the Modify group, click Group.
2. Click Remove path group.
3. Double-click a channel group feature in the Structure Browser.
4. Click to complete the operation.
