Measure shortest distance between two surfaces
To measure the shortest distance between two surfaces
1. Click
Analysis and then, in the
Measure group, click the arrow next to
Distance.
2. Click
Distance of Surf to Surf. The
Measure Output and
Distance dialog boxes open.
3. Click the first surface.
4. Click the second surface. The viewer displays the shortest distance between the two surfaces in the Distance Output box.
5. You can click further measure options, or click
to complete the operation.
