Measure shortest distance between two faces
To measure the shortest distance between two faces
1. Click
Analysis and then, in the
Measure group, click the arrow next to
Distance.
2. Click
Distance of Face to Face. The
Measure Output and
Distance dialog boxes open.
3. Click a face on the first part.
4. Click a face on the second part. The viewer displays the shortest distance between the two faces in the Distance Output box.
5. You can click further measure options, or click
to complete the operation.
