Measure shortest distance between two edges
To measure the shortest distance between two edges
1. Click
Analysis and then, in the
Measure group, click the arrow next to
Distance.
2. Click
Distance of Edge to Edge. The
Measure Output and
Distance dialog boxes open.
3. Click the first edge.
4. Click the second edge. The viewer displays the shortest distance between the two edges in the Distance Output box.
5. You can click further measure options, or click
to complete the operation.
