Measure shortest distance between an edge and surface
To measure the shortest distance between an edge and a surface
1. Click
Analysis and then, in the
Measure group, click the arrow next to
Distance.
2. Click
Distance of Edge to Surf. The
Measure Output and
Distance dialog boxes open.
3. Click an edge.
4. Click a surface. The viewer displays the shortest distance between the edge and the surface in the Distance Output box.
5. You can click further measure options, or click
to complete the operation.
