Activate and deactivate a configuration
When you activate a configuration,
Objects in the viewport move to the positions defined in the configuration,
The camera moves to its defined position, and
The drawlist saved with the configuration is applied.
You can easily control which of these actions is applied by holding a hotkey when you activate the configuration. You can even change what happens when you use a hotkey. See Configurations overview.
An active configuration is underlined in green, as shown below. (You can change this color. Right-click in the Structure Browser and select Settings.)
To activate a configuration,
You can activate a configuration in four different ways:
Double-click the configuration in the Structure Browser. The configuration will be activated with its camera and drawlist.
Press SHIFT and double-click the configuration. Only the parts are moved. The camera and drawlist is not applied.
Press CTRL and double-click the configuration. Only the camera and drawlist are applied. The parts are not moved in the viewport.
Right-click the configuration in the Structure Browser, then click Activate Configuration.
To deactivate the configuration,
Right-click the configuration in the Structure Browser, then click Deactivate.
