Find a point's coordinates
You can determine the exact coordinates of any point in the viewport with the Measure tool.
To find a point's coordinates
1. Click
Analysis and then, in the
Measure group, click the arrow next to
Point.
2. Click
Point 2D or
Point 3D,depending on whether you are using 2D or 3D.
3. Click a point in the viewport. The coordinates of the point are given in the Measure Output dialog box, next to the X: and Y: coordinate fields.
4. Continue clicking points to determine their coordinates, or click
or
to complete the command.
You can click OK to use the output from Measure as input for an interrupted operation.
