AI Indexing
Codebeamer’s AI Indexing is a processing feature that scans, processes, and organizes content in the background to enable semantic search instead of using keyword-based search. Instead of searching the contents of entire trackers every time, the system builds an index—a structured representation of the content.
The AI Indexing service must be enabled to use the Codebeamer AI Search Assistant. A System Administrator configures the AI Indexing service.

2. System Administrator specifies which projects can be indexed.
3. Project Administrator configures AI indexing for projects.
4. The project is added to the AI indexing queue.
5. AI Indexing service processes the content lifecycle events.
6. Indexed content becomes available for the AI Search Assistant.
