User License Usage Page
Click a week on the License Usage Page to see a drilled down view of the license usage for the selected week. The User License Usage Page shows the license usage per user per license type for the selected Windchill Server GUID.
The user license usage data is gathered on a daily basis. This data does not take into account the number of times a license was actually used in a day.
For example, consider two users, userA and userB. UserA logs in to the system and uses a PDMLink license for 10 times on day 1 and 20 times on day 2. UserB logs into the system and uses PDMLink license for two times on day 1 and three times on day 2. The report will show that userA and userB used the PDMLink licenses two times during the week, since it only counts the number of days the license was used during a given week. The data is captured once per day and aggregated on a weekly basis.
The LICENSE USAGE table shows the following information:
• User ID of the users accessing the Windchill application
• The earliest and latest date of accessing the Windchill application within the selected week
• Aggregate count of PDMLink, ProjectLink, View and Print, and unclassified license usage for the user for the selected week
• Click a row in the table to see the data on the chart.
