Important Information
When considering upgrading your ThingWorx environment or looking for compatibility information for versions of ThingWorx products, visit the PTC Release Advisor. The ThingWorx Connection Server, version 9.2.x is compatible with ThingWorx Platform versions 8.5.x and later.
ThingWorx Connection Server is required for ThingWorx High Availability (HA) Clustering.
The ThingWorx Protocol Adapter Toolkit is deprecated as of August 2020. All information for the product has been removed from this help center.
The standard support for the ThingWorx Azure IoT Hub Connector, v.2.x.x, has expired. All information for that version of the Connector has been removed from this help center. If you need to upgrade from v.2.x.x, refer to Upgrading the Azure IoT Hub Commector from v.2.0.x to 3.0.0 in the ThingWorx Azure IoT Hub Connector 3 Help Center. This procedure is also available in the ThingWorx Azure IoT Hub Connector 4 Help Center.
In accordance with industry-standard best practices regarding process isolation, PTC strongly recommends installing all ThingWorx Connection Services in a separate runtime environment from the ThingWorx Platform.
