To Narrow a Selection Using the Attributes Pane

Viewing Data > Selecting Data > Selecting ECAD Data > To Narrow a Selection Using the Attributes Pane

1. Select a group of objects in the graphics area, the

Substructure pane, or the

ECAD Results pane. The list of selected objects appears in the

Attributes pane of the lower data panel.

2. Sort the selected objects by clicking a column header. The objects are reordered according to the attribute you select.

3. In the

Attributes pane, select the appropriate rows. For example, only components on the top layer, or only routes of a certain minimum width.

4. Right-click and choose Select in Product Structure from the shortcut menu. The objects selected in the

Attributes pane remain selected, and other selections are deselected.
