About ATB-enabled CATIA V4
The Enable ATB option is selected by default in the import profile and the Import New Model and the File dialog boxes for the CATIA V4 file format. You can, therefore, import CATIA V4 part and assembly models as Translated Image Models (TIMs) or insert CATIA V4 part models in Creo Parametric parts as ATB-enabled import features.
You require the Creo CATIA V4 Collaboration license to export Creo Parametric models to CATIA V4. The Creo CATIA V4 Collaboration license supports Associative Topology Bus (ATB). You do not require a license to import CATIA V4 files. For more information about the data exchange procedures between Creo Parametric and CATIA V4, see the Interface Help.
The Check Status criteria for CATIA V4 TIM parts is the system file date of the reference model file. CATIA V4 models are out-of-date if the system file date of the CATIA file changes. The system file date can change even if you make a copy of the CATIA V4 file.
