Using Wildcard Characters to Open a File
When opening part or assembly files, you can enter Wildcard characters for file names, their extensions, and directory names. However, you cannot use Wildcards in place of version numbers. Keep in mind the following points for using wildcard characters:
An asterisk (*) can replace any number of characters.
A question mark (?) can replace any one character. When you type a question mark, you get a complete listing of the objects in the directory.
