To Create a Round
1. Select the edge to create a round. A Live Toolbar and a dragger with multiple handles appear along the selected edge.
2. On the Live Toolbar, click the arrow next to and select a round type. An Options Toolbar opens. Expand the Options Toolbar to open a Floating Dashboard.
Alternatively, to directly create a circular round (default), drag the handles to the desired radius.
3. Click the References collector and select or change the selected reference edges in the graphics window.
4. If you have selected an edge that is a part of a tangent chain, the round is automatically propagated to the entire chain. To apply the round only to the selected edges, clear the Chain check box.
5. In the Type panel, select an alternate round type, if required.
6. To define the radius, perform one of the following actions:
For a circular round, pull the dragger (handle) to the preferred radius or snap it to a reference. For the other round types, pull each of the draggers (handles) independently to the preferred radii.
Type the following values in the corresponding text boxes:
For the Circular round type, specify a radius value.
For the Conic and the D1 x D2 Conic round types, specify distance values (D1 and D2) and the Conic parameter.
For the C2 Continuous or the D1 x D2 C2 round types, specify distance values (D1 and D2) and C2 shape factor.
7. Middle-click to complete the operation.
