To Create a Hole
1. Select a surface. A Live Toolbar and the dragger appear.
2. Click . An Options Toolbar opens. Expand the Options Toolbar to open a floating dashboard. A hole is created. A circular handle and two linear handles appear on the hole. The location of the hole appears in the placement collector.
3. To move the hole, drag the circular handle to a new location.
4. To adjust the hole diameter, pull the handle. Alternatively, in the Diameter panel, type a value or select a value from the list.
5. To adjust the hole depth, drag the handle for the depth. Alternatively, in the Depth panel, type a value or select a value from the list.
6. To flip and adjust the depth to the opposite side of the placement reference, pull the handle. Alternatively, click .
7. Select two planes, surfaces, or edges as offset references for the hole. To select the second reference, first hold down the CTRL key.
8. To toggle the display of the offset reference dimensions, click Display reference dimensions. Alternatively, press the S key.
9. Middle-click to complete the operation.
