To Copy and Paste Surfaces
1. In part mode, select one or more surfaces of a geometry. Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple surfaces.
2. Click Home > Copy, or press CTRL + C.
3. Click Home > Paste, or press CTRL + V. The surfaces are pasted at their original position. A dragger appears, perpendicular to a surface, enabling you to click it and drag. The Move Pasted Toolbar appears.
4. Click to see the Floating Dashboard.
5. The number of selected surfaces is seen in the collector in the Move panel.
6. Select a new reference such as a plane, surface, axis, coordinate system, or an edge. The Place dragger collector shows the reference name.
7. Click to lock the Place dragger collector. Alternatively, double-click on the Move Pasted Toolbar to lock the Place dragger collector.
The Place dragger collector remains active even after you reposition the dragger. This allows you to quickly change the dragger placement from one reference to another reference, without reactivating the Place dragger collector.

* Locking the Place dragger collector is recommended if you want to move or rotate the geometry with multiple dragger placement references.
* Click to unlock the Place dragger collector. To reposition the dragger, click the Place dragger collector and then select a reference in the graphics window.
8. Pull the dragger to move the selected geometry. A displacement value appears in the Offset value box.
To change the dragging direction, click the Place Dragger collector, and select a surface.
To change the angle of rotation, click and rotate the angular dragger. Alternatively, in the Angle value box, type a value.
9. Click the dragger and pull, to move the copied geometry. Or type a value in the Offset value box.
10. To snap the selected entity to a reference, click the collector in the Snapping reference panel. Hold down the SHIFT key while dragging a handle, and select a reference.
11. To snap a geometry to a reference, click the Snapping reference collector and select a surface to snap. Hold down the SHIFT key, move the dragger and select a reference.
12. To reattach modified geometry to the same solid or quilt where it was originally attached, select the Attach geometry check box.
13. To store attachment properties select the Store attachment properties check box (selected by default). Attachment properties specify how a modified geometry reconnects to the rest of the model. Available when Attach geometry check box is not selected.
14. To create round or chamfer geometry in the new location after the selected geometry is moved and attached, and to close the gaps created by the moving geometry, select the Recreate rounds and chamfers geometry check box. Available when Attach geometry check box is selected.
15. To preview a solution click or one or more times. Or select from the adjacent list.
16. To maintain existing round or chamfer geometry at the boundary between the selected geometry and the neighbouring geometry, when moving the selected geometry, select the Maintain rounds and chamfers check box (selected by default).
17. Middle click to complete.
