About Manipulating 2D Geometry
After creating a geometric entity, you can directly manipulate a combination of endpoints or vertices. Select and drag the highlighted endpoints or other manipulation handles to directly manipulate an entity. Keep in mind the following points:
• You can manipulate an entity even if it is attached to other geometry.
• To manipulate entities with same-point constraints, you can drag one entity independent of the other. Hold down the SHIFT key and drag the coincident endpoint.
• When you drag an entity from a point that is neither an endpoint nor a manipulation handle, the entire entity translates and follows the pointer.
• You can select multiple entities or multiple vertices simultaneously for manipulation. In such cases the only action possible for all of them is translation.
