About Manipulating 2D Geometry
After creating a geometric entity, you can directly manipulate a combination of endpoints or vertices. Select and drag the highlighted endpoints or other manipulation handles to directly manipulate an entity. Keep in mind the following points:
You can manipulate an entity even if it is attached to other geometry.
To manipulate entities with same-point constraints, you can drag one entity independent of the other. Hold down the SHIFT key and drag the coincident endpoint.
When you drag an entity from a point that is neither an endpoint nor a manipulation handle, the entire entity translates and follows the pointer.
You can select multiple entities or multiple vertices simultaneously for manipulation. In such cases the only action possible for all of them is translation.
