Positioning options for create, copy, and share
The following position options are available:
• Mate Align - Aligns and mates faces and axes.
• Translate - Moves the part or assembly in one direction by a specified distance.
• Rotate - Rotates the part or assembly around an axis by a specified angle.
• Dynamic - Dynamically positions the part or assembly via the knob-box (should only be used for approximate positioning).
• Match Pts - Aligns three pairs of points.
• Pt Dir Pt - Aligns two pairs of points and a direction.
• Set knobs - Specifies the directions and axis for the knobs.
You can also right-click anywhere in the viewport and then, on the context menu, click Auxiliary View to toggle the display of the auxiliary view window.
