Set the thread appearance
The appearance of threads from library parts, created with sd-define-thread or Creo Elements/Direct Machining, and displayed in Creo Elements/Direct Annotation views, is controlled by a number of settings. You can change these settings at any time, and they will be used for subsequently-created views containing threads. To see the changes on existing views, you need to update the affected views; see Update a view.
You can set the color, line type and size of hidden and normal threads.
You can also change the extent of the arc that denotes the top or bottom of a threaded component. The arc is defined by two absolute angles implying two diametrical points where the arc begins and ends.
To set the attributes of threads,
1. Click File > Settings > View 2D > Thread Line Settings. The Default Settings browser (table) opens with Thread Lines settings.
2. Double-click Visible Thread Lines or Hidden Thread Line.
3. Change the values in the line style reference table.
4. Double-click Thread Arc Begin or Thread Arc End.
5. Enter a new value for the angle.
Note that the color of hidden threads is the same as the hidden view geometry color.
