Modify text attributes
This section shows how to alter the appearance of already existing text. The settings and their options in the Modify Text dialog box are the same as for the default settings, except for the following settings:
The cursor feedback setting cannot be modified.
To change a text attribute,
1. Click Annotation and then, in the Annotate group, click the arrow next to Properties.
2. Click Text. The Modify Text dialog box opens.
3. Click the text to change, define a selection box, or use the Select tool.
4. Click the setting to be changed.
5. Enter a new value or select a new option as appropriate.
6. Continue changing settings or click to complete the operation.
There are also two options to specify predefined settings:
Grab
You can grab the settings of existing text for use as the selections in the Modify Text dialog box. Click Grab and then specify the text whose style you want to apply. The fields in the menu are updated to show the selected text's settings.
Default
The default text settings (as specified in the Text Settings dialog box) can also be applied when modifying text. Click Default to adopt these settings in the menu.
