Copying and Pasting Data into a Data Set
For any type of Weibull life data set or a degradation data set, you can copy and paste failure data from a source file into the table in the Weibull Data Points pane. When the ALT module is in use, you can also enter or copy and paste data in the table in the ALT Data Points pane. Source data can be stored in a text file, spreadsheet, or database. In addition to saving a great deal of data entry time, copying and pasting data into the table helps to ensure accuracy and consistency.
1. Open the source file and select the data to copy.
2. Press Ctrl+C to copy the data to the Windows Clipboard.
3. In the LDA Navigator, select the data set into which to paste the data.
4. In the table in the Data Points pane, click the blank row at the end.
5. Press Ctrl+V to paste the data. The data is always inserted at the end of the table.
