Weibull Data Points Pane for a Reliability Growth Data Set
When a reliability growth data set is selected in the LDA Navigator, you supply the data to analyze in the Weibull Data Points pane. The table columns shown in this pane depend on the data type selected in the Weibull Parameters pane. The following figure shows the single column available for either the Duane Cumulative or Crow/AMSAA Cumulative data type.
In both this module and the ALT module, you can change, reset, and save data point column names. For more information, see Changing the Names of Data Point Columns.
The following table describes the default columns that can appear in the Weibull Data Points table for a reliability growth data set.
Data Type
Columns
Duane Cumulative OR
Crow/AMSAA Cumulative
Cumulative Failure Times. The time at which the failure occurred.
Duane Interval OR
Crow/AMSAA Interval
Start Time. The time at which the interval started, which is generally immediately after the last inspection was completed.
End Time. The time at which the interval ended, which is generally just prior to beginning the next inspection.
Number Failed. The number of units in the failed state during this interval.
*
Although the Duane and Crow/AMSAA models can handle missing portions of data, the values that you supply for time must be positive (greater than zero). If 0 or negative values are supplied, an error message is shown when the data set is calculated.
