ALT Data Points Pane for a Stress Profile
When a stress profile is selected in the LDA Navigator, you supply stress data in the ALT Data Points pane. While no calculations run on this data, the ALT Plot pane shows a plot of it.
*
In both this module and the Weibull module, you can change, reset, and save data point column names. For more information, see Renaming Data Point Columns.
The following table describes the columns that appear in the ALT Data Points pane for a stress profile. You can enter data directly in this table or copy it from a Microsoft Excel file or one in CSV (comma separated value) format and then paste it into this table.
Column
Description
Start Time
The time at which the product begins experiencing the specified stress level. The start time is display-only. For the first row, the value is 0. For subsequent rows, the value is the end time for preceding row. For example, if the end time for the first row is 720, then the start time for the second row is 720.
End Time
The time at which the product stops experiencing the specified stress level. You must enter a value greater than the start time.
Stress Level
The level of stress that the product experiences during this time period.
The ALT Plot pane displays a plot of the stress data. Plots for a stress profile always start at zero because this is the start time for the first row in its ALT Data Points pane.
