Text Display Page
The Text Display page in the Visual Properties window for an RBD block or a Markov state displays information about the text box for the block or state. The only difference between the text display properties for a block and a state are the fields available for display. When the Visual Properties window is for a specific block or state in a diagram, the properties on the Text Display page are available only if Bind to style has been cleared on the General page.

Available fields
|
Lists the fields that can be added to the text box. Descriptions of the fields that can be shown for a block appear in Block Text Box Fields. Descriptions of the fields that can be shown for a Markov state appear in State Text Box Fields.

Fields to display
|
Lists the fields that have already been selected to appear in the text box.
|

When clicked, the field selected in the Available fields list is moved to the Fields to display list.
|

When clicked, all field in the Available fields list are moved to the Fields to display list.
|
 |
When clicked, the field selected in the Fields to display list is moved to the Available fields list.

 |
When clicked, all fields in the Fields to display list are moved to the Available fields list.

Significant digits
|
Indicates the number of significant digits to show for numeric values. The default is 6.
|
|
Suppress trailing zeros
|
When selected, numeric values are not added to meet the number of digits specified for Significant digits.
|

Scientific notation always
|
When cleared, numeric values are shown in scientific notation only if the number of values is greater than that specified for Significant digits. When selected, numeric values are always shown in scientific notation, regardless of the number of values specified for Significant digits.

Placement
|
Indicates the placement of the field currently selected in the Fields to display list. Choices are:
• Top. When selected, the field is placed above the block.
• Bottom. When selected, the field is placed below the block.
• Inside. When selected (default), the field is placed inside the block. This choice is unavailable if, on the Graphic page, you indicated that the block is to be represented by a graphic image file. For more information, see Graphic Page.
