State Text Box Fields
The following table describes the fields that can be shown in the text box for a state. These fields display either properties entered on the General page in the state’s Properties window or the calculation results shown on the Results page once calculations run.

The throughput, output, or production of the system at a specified point in time.

Frequency of visits
Freq of Visits
The expected number of visits to a state per unit time at a specified point in time.
Initial condition
Init Cond
The probability (between 0 and 1) that the system will be in this state when it initially starts operating.
State
State
The status of the state (Good, Failed, or Degraded).
State probability
Prob
The probability that the system is in this state at a specified point in time.
You can customize the default prompts that appear in front of these fields in the Project’s Data Definition file as described in Customizing a Field Prompt. When you select Markov Display Labels as the table type, you can specify a custom prompt for any or all of the Markov result fields. For example, instead of using Prob as the prompt for the Probability result, you can type Probability for its User Prompt so that it becomes the prompt for the probability result instead.
