Infant Mortality Process Grade
The Infant Mortality process grade factor (Pi IM) is calculated based on parameters that you enter in the Infant Mortality - Temperature and Infant Mortality - Vibration panes in the Prediction Process Grade file. These two panes allow you to indicate:
• The type of temperature and vibration screening tests performed.
• The specific conditions (stresses) of these tests.
• The detection efficiency associated with these tests.
• The estimated percent of potential infant mortality failures resulting from temperature cycling and vibration for each screening test type option.
• The instantaneous failure time baseline (in months).
The following topics provide additional information about these panes and how to use them to calculate a score for the Infant Mortality process grade factor.
