Generate a Prediction Calculation Result over Range of Environments Graph
When Calculation result over range of environments is selected on the Data Type page of the Graph Wizard, you can graph a calculation result over a range of temperatures.
1. Start the Graph Wizard and complete the first few pages as described in Generating a Prediction Graph.
2. On the Prediction Graph Type page, select Calculation result over range of environments and click Next. The Select Calculation page appears. All data fields that store prediction calculation results are available for selection.
3. For Data field, select the result you want to graph and click Next. The Select Environments page appears so that you can specify the environments for which you want to show results on the graph.
4. For Environment field, indicate which environments to show in the Available environments list. Choices are: Environment; Environment, 217Plus Parts Count; Environment 299B; Environment, HRD5; Environment, PRISM / 217Plus. The default is Environment, which is the environments for MIL-HDBK-217, Telcordia, and Bellcore models. For more information, see Environments.
Because the Range of environments checkbox is selected by default, the options for specifying the start and end environments are available.
5. If you want to specify a range of environments, do the following:
a. Ensure that the Range of environments checkbox is selected.
b. For From, enter the first environment for which to graph the result. The default for this option depends on what is selected for Environment field.
c. For To, enter the last environment for which to graph the result.
6. If you want to supply specific environments, do the following:
a. Select the Selected environments checkbox. The options below this checkbox become available.
b. Move the environments for which you want to graph results from the Available environments list to the Selected environments list.
All environments in these lists appear in alphabetical order. You can double-click an entry to move in between lists. You can also use the Add >, All >>, < Remove, or << All buttons to move selected entries between lists.
7. When finished, click Next. The Filter Data page appears so that you can indicate which records to use for the graph.
8. Complete this page, which is shown by most prediction reports. For more information, see Filter Data Page.
9. Click Next. The Graph Options page appears so that you can specify how the graph is to look.
10. Complete the Graph Options page and all remaining pages to generate the graph. For more information, see Specifying Graph Options.
Once the wizard closes, the Select Configuration window opens if more than one configuration exists in the System file.
11. If the Select Configuration window opens, select the appropriate configuration and click OK to generate the graph.
