When generating an advanced FRACAS graph, the following options are not shown on the Graph Options page: Pareto, Sort in descending order, Select most significant items, and Limit number of items per graph. As explained in Generating an Advanced FRACAS Graph, you use the Advanced Graph Data Setup page to sort, group, and limit the data for an advanced FRACAS graph.

Description

---|---|---|---|
Graph title
The name of the custom graph to create. If you enter a value here, it is shown at the top of the graph.
Graph type
The type of graph to create. The Graph Wizard supports various types of area, bar, line, marker, and pie/donut graphs. However, for an advanced FRACAS graph, marker and pie/donut graphs are not supported. The default is a cylinder bar graph.

Pareto
Indicates whether to create a Pareto chart. When this checkbox is selected, an additional line chart is plotted against a secondary Y axis. This line shows the cumulative percentage of the total number of occurrences based on the first data series. On selecting Pareto, Sort in descending order is selected and unavailable. This is because a Pareto chart always sorts in descending order. In the generated graph, the name of the second series is Cumulative Percentage. For the first series, the cylinder chart style is used, and all bars are the same color. For the second series, the line auto chart style is used. On the Secondary Y Axis page in the graph properties, Maximum is set to 100, and the Use default checkbox is cleared.
Sort in descending order
Indicates whether to order the values for the X axis from the highest to lowest value. When this checkbox is selected, values are ordered from highest to lowest value.
Display data labels
Indicates whether to show data values on the graph. When this checkbox is selected, data values are shown.
Select most significant items
Indicates whether to display only the top occurring data values on the graph. When this checkbox is selected, Limit becomes available so that you can indicate how many values to graph. The default is 10. Thus, if you select this checkbox and use the default limit, only the 10 most frequently occurring values are graphed.
Limit number of items per graph
Indicates whether the graph can extend to multiple pages. When this checkbox is selected, Limit becomes available so that you can indicate the maximum number of data values to display on each page. The default is 10. If you change the limit to 5 for a bar chart with 18 bars (data values), four graphs would be generated. The number of bars per graph would be five, five, five, and three. You can use this option in combination with the above option. For example, you can indicate that only the top 100 occurring values are to display on the graph, with a limit of 10 data values per graph.
