Derating Data Pane
The Derating Data pane displays derating criteria for the record selected in the Derating Definition pane. The options that appear in this pane depend on the parameter specified for the record. The parameter can be quality level, ambient or junction temperature, or operating power or power stress ratio.
• When None is selected for Minimum rating or Maximum rating, no value is specified for the criterion.
• When some other choice is selected for
Minimum rating or
Maximum rating,
Nominal and
Worst case are shown in the
Derating Data pane. Entering values for both the nominal and worst cases is recommended. The choices available for
Minimum rating or
Maximum rating depend on the parameter selected for the derating record when it is inserted. For more information, see

When running prediction calculations, on the
Predictions page in the
Calculate window,
Derating calculations specifies whether you want to use nominal or worst case values for derating analysis. The default is to use nominal values. For more information, see
