Inserting Gates and Events Using the FTA Tools Toolbar
You can insert gates and events using the FTA Tools toolbar. If it is not visible, right-click in the toolbar area and select FTA Tools.
1. In the FTA Tools toolbar, click the button for the gate or event to insert.
The gate or event is attached to the mouse cursor.
2. Place the mouse cursor over the gate beneath which to insert the gate or event. A connector symbol appears to indicate that a connector can be drawn.
If you place the mouse cursor over a gate beneath which a gate or event cannot be inserted, a Not sign appears over a transparent version of the connector symbol to indicate that insertion is not permitted at this location.
3. Left-click to insert the gate or event. A connector is inserted along with the gate or event.
