Fault Tree Object Insert Commands
Commands for inserting fault tree objects are found on the Insert menu and the FTA Tools toolbar. The following table lists these commands in the order in which they are appear on the Insert menu. As described in FTA Tools Toolbar, you can also insert a specific type of gate or event using the button provided for this purpose. Different commands for object layout tools are also available on the Diagram menu. For more information, see Diagram Commands.

Description
Gate
Provides for inserting a gate. For more information, see Inserting Gates and Events Using Insert Commands.
Event
Provides for inserting an event. For more information, see Inserting Gates and Events Using Insert Commands.
Repeated Event
Provides for inserting a repeated event. For more information, see Inserting Repeated Events.
Input
Insert Input
Provides for inserting a gate or event as an input to the currently selected gate. This command is available only when a gate is selected. For more information, see Inserting Gates and Events.
New Top Gate (Insert)
New Top Gate (Insert)
Provides for inserting a new top gate (fault tree). This command is available on the shortcut menu only when nothing is selected in the diagram. For more information, see Inserting New Top Gates (Fault Trees).
Level
Insert Level
Provides for inserting a new level between two existing levels. For more information, see Inserting New Fault Tree Levels.
Label
Provides for inserting a static text label. This is done in the same way in all diagram modules that support labels. For more information, see Inserting a Label.
