Connection Points Page
The Connection Points page in the junction’s Properties window specifies connection point properties for the junction. When the Properties window is for a specific junction in a block diagram, the properties on the Connection Points page are available only if Bind to style has been cleared on the General page. The following table describes the properties on the Connection Points page.

Show connection points
When selected, connection points appear on the junction. When cleared, no connection point appear on the junction. Connection points are visual indicators of the connector direction. A junction has both input and output connection points. The start node has only an output connection. The end node has only an input connection.
Size
The size of the connection points in pixels.
Triangle
When selected, the connection point is represented by a triangle.
Square
When selected, the connection point is represented by a square.
Circle
When selected, the connection point is represented by a circle.
Input
Indicates the location of the input connection of the junction. Choices are Top, Bottom, Left, or Right. A start node does not have an input connection.
Output
Indicates the location of the output connection of the junction. Choices are Top, Bottom, Left, or Right. An end node does not have an output connection.
Use fill color
Indicates whether to fill the connection points with color. When selected, they are filled with the color selected for the property that becomes available beneath this checkbox. For more information, see Using the Color Control.
