Color Page
The Color page in the Visual Properties window for an RBD block or a Markov state displays the color of different elements in the block or state. The color properties for a block and state are basically the same. When the Visual Properties window is for a specific block or state in a diagram, the properties on the Color page are available only if Bind to style has been cleared on the General page.
The following table describes the properties on the Color page. Several of these properties use the color control or the opacity control. For more information, see Using the Color Control. or Using the Opacity Control.

Text color
The color of the text. The default is black.
Connection point color
The color of the connection points for the block. The default is white.
Border color
The color of the border for the text box. The default is black.
Fill color
The background color for the block. The default is blue.
Fill color opacity
The translucency of the fill color. When the slider control is set to the far left, the color is transparent (0% fill). When it is set to the far right, the color is opaque (100% fill).
Fill style
The fill pattern for the background color. Choices are:
None. When selected, the block is not filled but is transparent.
Solid. When selected (default), the block is filled with the color specified for Fill color.
Gradient. When selected, the color shifts from the fill color to the color specified for Gradient color.
Hatch. When selected, the block is filled using the color specified for Hatch Color and the pattern specified for Hatch style.
Texture. When selected, the block is filled with the texture specified for Texture style.
Glass. When selected, the block is drawn to look glassy.
Gradient color

The color to which to gradually shift for the fill or the color for the hatch pattern. This field is available only if Gradient or Hatch is selected for Fill style. The label for this property depends on the fill style selected.
Gradient color opacity

The translucency of the gradient color or hatch color. This slider control is available only if Gradient or Hatch is selected for Fill style. The label for this property depends on the fill style selected. When the slider control is set to the far left, the color is transparent (0% fill). When it is set to the far right, the color is opaque (100% fill).
Hatch style
The pattern to impose on the fill color. This property is available only if Hatch is selected for Fill style. Dozens of hatch styles are available for selection.
Texture style
The graphic image with which to fill the block. This property is available only if Texture is selected for Fill style. Textures are pictures that are drawn in way that they can scale up by repeating themselves. For example, wallpaper patterns usually have this property. Dozens of texture styles are available for selection. A few sample texture styles are shown below.
Texture opacity
The translucency of the texture. When the slider control is set to the far left, the texture is transparent (0% fill). When it is set to the far right, the texture is opaque (100% fill).
