Prediction Values Data Pane
The Prediction Values Data pane displays an hierarchical tree that specifies the Pi factor values to use for particular model/category/subcategory combinations for the environment or quality level selected in the Prediction Values pane. The highest level reflects the calculation model. The next lower level reflects the part category. The lowest level reflects the part subcategory. The following table provides column descriptions.
Column
Description
Part Type
The options that appear depend on whether an environment or quality level is selected in the Prediction Values pane.
When an environment is selected, a default record appears in the Prediction Values Data pane. In this record, the default Pi E value for all calculation models and part types is specified. The default Pi E value is 1.
When a custom quality level is selected, no default record appears in the Prediction Values Data pane.
For any environment or quality level, you can insert additional records in the Prediction Values Data pane to specify the Pi factors to use for various model/category/subcategory combinations.
Pi E Value
OR
Pi Q Value
The value to use for the Pi factor. The Pi factor that is being specified depends on whether an environment or quality level is selected in Prediction Values pane. When an environment is selected, a Pi E value is specified. When a quality level is selected, a Pi Q value is specified.
Clicking < Click here to insert a new record > in the last table row inserts a data record. For more information, see Inserting a Prediction Values Data Record.

The Siemens model supports a custom quality level only for the Capacitor part category. It does not support quality levels for other categories or custom environments.
