Prediction Parts Library File Overview
A Prediction Parts Library file stores part data to retrieve and shown in the Parts Table and parts-related panes when a part number search results in a match. While Windchill Risk and Reliability libraries provide part data for many kinds of parts, you can also create any number of Prediction Parts Library files in which to store part data. The Prediction Parts Library files that you create are generically referred to as user libraries to distinguish them from the read-only Windchill Risk and Reliability libraries.
The following table describes the two panes in the Prediction Parts Library file.

|
Displays tabbed panes for all Prediction Parts forms enabled in the Project so that part data can be specified for the record selected in the Parts List pane. For more information, see Prediction Parts Forms. |
Under
Prediction in the properties for the
Prediction Parts Library file, you specify the model and Telcordia calculation method for which to enter part parameters. Your selections affect the options available on the Prediction Parts forms. You can create
Prediction Parts Library files for each model that you might use. For more information, see
